Roberta Galbraith to retire from MCGA, Corina Lepp to serve as Grower Engagement and Extension Manager

WINNIPEG, MB, July 22, 2018 – Next week, the Manitoba Canola Growers Association (MCGA) will say farewell and all the best to Roberta Galbraith as she retires and focuses on her family farm.

Roberta has worked for Manitoba Canola Growers for eight years. In that time she has been a leader in developing and creating learning opportunities and actives for Canola farmers in Manitoba. Her strategic thinking, creativity, passion for learning and wisdom will truly be missed.

“The other directors and I would like to thank Roberta for her hard work, for the way she connected with everyone in the agriculture industry, for helping form the CropConnect Conference, and for making MCGA a great organization,” says Jack Froese, Director, MCGA.

Roberta: Manitoba Canola Growers thank you for your inspiration, hard work, enthusiasm and dedication to the industry. We wish you all the best in your retirement.

In early June, MCGA welcomed Corina Lepp, the new Grower Engagement and Extension Manager to the organization.

“Corina is joining a great organization and it is the people that make it great,” said Froese. “We’re thrilled to welcome her aboard, and from our initial observations we think she will be a great fit.”

Corina is looking forward to reconnecting in the industry, and working with growers on the issues that are important to them and their operations. Corina will take over for events like CROPS-A-PALOOZA, Learn to Lead and the Crop Connect Conference.

Come out to CROPS-A-PALOOZA in Carberry this week and say hello to Corina and thank Roberta for her eight years of service. Visit https://canolagrowers.com/upcoming-events/crops-a-palooza-2019/ for more information.
