Clubroot Research

Clubroot research project is a 4 year project to build a durable clubroot resistance. This is funded by Alberta Crop Industry Development Fund (ACIDF) and the three grower groups.

In addition to the project mentioned above Manitoba Canola Growers have also set up a testing facility.  The Pest Surveillance Initiative (PSI) is a project of the Manitoba Canola Growers Association and Manitoba Agriculture, Food and Rural Development with funding from the Growing Forward 2-Growing Actions program. A grower lead effort, the first project of the Initiative will focus on technologies for the detection of low concentrations of clubroot in Manitoba.
