The Amazing Agriculture Adventure

$4.00The Amazing Agriculture Adventure (AAA) is a hands-on and interactive event geared towards Grade 4 and Grade 5 science curriculum, hosted by Agriculture in the Classroom. Various activities are centered around habitats and communities, rocks, minerals and erosion, properties of land, changes in substances and simple machines.
Students move through 12 interactive stations covering a variety of agriculture topics. During lunch, students take part in a cookie auction with a professional auctioneer.

Where: Richardson International’s Kelburn Farm

Please note:
– Students, teachers and chaperones are expected to bring a bagged lunch, although cookies and chocolate milk will be provided at lunch.
– All students will visit Kelburn Farm for 1/2 day and Glenlea Farm for the other 1/2 day. Watch for an email before the event identifying which farm you will start at in the morning.
– Because this event involves two different farms, students will need to be transported to the second farm at lunch. Please have your bus (or parent transportation) available.
